For a mission I want to turn the flashbang more into the real life flashbang.
The real flashbang doesn't kill anyone, it just distracts and blinds them. It makes the badguys difficult to attack the arrest team and forces them to surrender to the goodguys.
Generals could offer 2 things for this.
1. The surrender option enabled (if its still in somewhere) so the badguys surrender. But I have no idea how.
In theory a police van could then function as a POW truck to take them away (to prison

).
2. The EMP effect, but on infantry, letting them be unable to shoot or move for a short while (like the Flashbang effect in Soldier of Fortune 1).
Any idea how to do this? I have not been able to find the actual EMP weapon in the ini files.
The result should be that the SWAT agent uses a flashbang and then takes them out with his rifle.
The ideal method would probably be a mix of both, let the flashbang temp disable the badguys, and after taking some fire some surrender and others do not (and get shot). But I don't think thats possible.
BTW when trying to edit weapons in my map.ini this didn't seem to work. I wanted to give the rifle of my SWAT agent (UN soldier with edited rules) to use rifle at long range and flashbang at short range.
Note: I use a
map.ini (its for a certain police VS rioters (angry mobs) mission I am making) which means the code should be somewhat diffirent then for a mod.
