Default Stealth Generators...

Ok, I am the Tiberian Sun mod guy. I have a question.

Is it possible to make a building that acts like the stealth generator in Tiberian Sun did? Can you create a effect feild that stealths anything freindly that enters it? Can you stealth buildings?

To your second question yes you can.... i made a chinese bunker stealth it was insanely cheap because even when the guys were firing from inside it was still stealthed. Im not sure about the second

hmmmm i think its possible to make so that when u build a certain buildin the others get an upgrade that makes them stealth

you can't make a stealth generator.. Hardcoded.

well how about making the stealth generator act like a power plant, when there is not enough power the building doesnt work. could it be made that all buildings have stealth but require a different type of power plant to to power the stealth feature?

or we can just make it so that all units and buildings of one side can cloak until the timer runs down, and then the generator has to charge again. and make it so you can only build 1 stealth generator.....

Or... the more generators you have the longer it lasts....

Is any of this possible?

Is it possible for a unit to have to go back to base but not have to dock to reload? Like how the propaganda tower healed, could you also make it reload units too?

I want my GDI Helipad to reload orcas that land near it. So peeps dont have to build a helipad for each air unit, and wont have to have 1 huge airfeild either.

You can probably make a building that gives you the option to create a new module tag for each building that makes em stealthed all at the same time

But I think I know what you mean. But I would only want a area of effect.

But if that is absolutly not possible....
I could go with a build limit of 1 stealth generator, and it has to charge then it allows like 45 60 seconds of stealth for all units and/or buildings of the owner's side.

Maybe... hey... could it be possible to do like that "emergency repair" tab, where you can deploy a healing burst at a point and all in the radius get healed a bit. Couldn't yah do the same thing but with that tag thing, where it has a radius, but make the generator constantly target itself, but the radius of effect is large so all things around it become stealthed.

then make the stealth effect last 10 seconds and make it fire every 10 seconds.

Could that work or is that super confusing?

Well, the spy drone detects stealth in an area, maybe you could reverse it.

It has the DETECTS_STEALTH tag i think, maybe you could make it so it stealths units instead?

Alright, heres what you could do. Make it so you can produce a unit that is stealthed and acts liek a humvee, but can carry tanks aswell ( im sure it's possible) there, youve got a mobile stealth thing a majiger.
