Default INI questions!!!

INI questions!!!

What i am suppose to change in the INI files to make this change:

1. Gattling, Dragon, Inferno effects Horde bonus? (5 to get horde bonus)
2. MIG effect horde bonus? (4 to get horde bonus)
3. Add Nationalism logo next to units potrait to mentioned above units? (1 and 2)
4. Make firewall can only be gain if dragon tanks together (more than 5) but firewall have more damage and hell alot more radius... all over the screen...:P
5. Raptor not visible in mini radar (not making them stealth... just the dot on the radar not visible)
6. Make Tomahawk have linking system like patriot? you like the dezzire mod tomahawk they can assign other far tomahawk to hit same target...
7. Jarmen can garrison without enemy knowing (buildings still have neutral color... not change to player color and add flag... so u will never know if jarmen garrison that building..)

As always, just look (in the FactionUnit.ini mostly) for similar units to look how it works....

1,2 : look battlemaster for "horde"
3 : I think it is auto when horde is activated
4 : look if the horde bonug give an upgrade (so you can change the weapon ti be more powerful) or just a bonus percentage.... I think it is just a percentage though.
5 : Haven't seen other units doing this, must be impossible
6 : See patriot
7 : See pathfinder

Maybe using the regular horde bonus on the tank, but substituting the HORDE bonus with the WEAPONSET_UPGRADE bonus. Then you'd have to re-work the weapon set so only the upgraded one contains the firewall. You will lose the Black Napalm upgrade with this though.

Take a look at the original patriot and its weapons (there's 3) for some ideas.

are the no 7 are allready like that? lol ... didn't notice that...

4. so i will lose BN upgrade if i do this? are not possible to have 2 weapon bonus?

Yes, he really is stealth, try it. Just put him in a building and when the enemy comes they won't attack it unless he shoots back. You se the colour and the flag but the enemy doesn't.

And no, you can't have two upgrades affecting the same thing. But to avoid confusion here: a WEAPONBONUS_UPGRADE merely adds damage to a weapon, and it's attached to the weapon itself, while a WEAPONSET_UPGRADE uses a whole new weapon set.

BTW, if anyone could answer this... Is it possible to give a unit a different armour type (or increased hit points) when it gets an upgrade from GLA crate? I want the Quad Cannon, Technical and Marauder to get bonus hit points when they salvage a crate. Any ideas on how to do this? I tried giving them a second and third ArmorSet with Conditions = CRATEUPGRADE_ONE and TWO, and then copying the existing armour types but reducing the percentages a little. But it crashed during startup, though it worked (without the desired effect) when I commented those lines out so that proves that those lines were the cause. I need to use some other way to do it but I don't know how. Any help would be appreciated.

Is it possible. Just set this for the unit: RadarPriority = NOT_ON_RADAR. Unfourtunately it will be like that for the player as well :tard:
