Default Answer to "3d shadows Problem, with Propellers"

So I found the answer

When you export your copter or your cargo with RenX, go in w3dtools>geometry options, and check Normal and Shadw ! (Shadw is not check as default), without Shadw the alpha channel has not Shadows....
Voilà

( it was very difficult to found it lol )

Thanks! I've always wanted to know that!

Do you know how to fix those shadow problems that sometimes arise as well? (They look like vertical lines)

I think they can be caused if you have some holes in your model ex. missing faces at a weird angle and the shadow might poke through.

Yep for the shadows lines it's not very difficult but it's long...
open your .gmax or your .w3d, There is this bug cause gmax don't know how to do Beautiful Symetry  It's a crap ....
So move in your perspctive view // press F4 ( for view the edges ) and press F3 for see trough the model, and Press F2 to view your selected faces // now look your symetry axe, look for some faces who are not allowed to be there .There are some Faces who bug when you do a symetry, move, look for and turn around your model during 5 min for find faces who bug.....
In general, the faces who bug look like lines on your symetry axe, on your model...
And it's not the holes !! There are also faces ( look like lines ) who can be everywhere in your model so look for, but mainly it's in the symetry axe !!!
(srry for my english)
Voilà

LOL srry, it's very difficult to explain it ://
i ll post with images soon..
or just delete the faces who looks like lines ( i didn't say edge but face ), this faces are in the middle of your model ( the symetry axe ), move your camera inside ( for view inside of course ) your model and look on this axe..you ll see the faces who look like lines, press F2 to view their in red when you select..

just flip the face normal and look for face that shouldn't show up. That the easy way.

A more easier way to explain

Polygons have a "normal" = a direction perpendicular on its surface.
These normals have to point outward of the model and must have an opposite direction...

Imagine you have a ray that goes through the object from top through bottom...
The upper polygon normal must point upwards and the bottom normal downwards.
If the ray hits 2 upward going normals first, before you get to the bottom polygon, it will cause a shadow error as seen on the helicopter (leaking shadow)
Missing polygons in the model usually show up as gaps in the shadow.
