I know that it is possible to replace existing weaponsounds, but whenever I try to create a totally new sound ini coding then somehow the game doesn't recognize the new sound. You will have a unit shooting but no sounds is audible.

Can anyone help?

ok you know where to put the sound file right? if not it is Generals\Data\Audio\Sounds\file.wav

first the new sound file MUST! be in 16 bit, mono, signed other wise it will not work if that is not it than check your ini coding
