Default how do you put models in game?

I have looking for a good tutorial on how to add my models in the game.or can anybody help?what tools or softwhere do I need?

and it has been posted many times, try to search for it u must get
gmax - discreet.com

RenX - Search for RenegadeTools

FinalBig to extract the files you need out of the .big files in your main generals directory

1. ok i'm finished with the model do i have to skin it? i cant just add it to the game?
2. and if i need to skin it how do i just make the whole thing grey? a fast answer would be appreciated.
3. what about animation? can i assign animation bones in game like for turret and weapon? or do i need to make bones for them myself? in what program do i do that?

please hurry up and answer im trying to work nonstop on this so every little stop is really painfull.

1 - You don't have to skin it, you can just add it to the game...

2 - Well its a bit complicated.. you have to unwarp the model, then etc etc

3 - You need to assign bones to each, and then assign the ini to them to tell that it has it. RenX

in renx or in the ini?

by the way, all parts of the models, do they need to be seperate files? or do i somehow call them in the ini code?
where are all the w3d objects in generals, and how do i extract them?
