Model problem Max->gMax->w3d
Hi there,
first of all, is there any way to get the model from 3d Max directly to w3d format?
We have some problemes with the 3ds export of 3dsmax.
It seems to be a problem with linked objects, the are not exportet correct.
The will be scalled if I reimport the 3dsfile in gmax or max itself.
Is there a way to avoid this?

There is a new probelm.
The model is edit as a poly and if it's exported as 3DS it's turned to a mesh.
This causes that an model with 500 polygons will have 1000 instead.
Is there a way to avoid something like that?

hi dont edit it as a mesh just use edit mesh from the start then import to 3ds but you maystill have to fix some stuff.
