Default RenX use

Alright I have all the programs needed for editing. Using ini is easy but somtimes tedious but right now I need to know how to make generals 3d files compatible with gmax so I can modify them.

I believe there's a ReadMe file included and I think you need RenX, anyway, assuming that you have RenX installed, just do this.
First open up Renx, make sure you run the Renx icon not the Gmax icon.
Click on the Utilities button, looks like a little hammer and should
be to the far right. Go down and click on the MaxScript button. Bottum of the list. There should be a little pulldown in the new section, has the word
Utilities just above it. In this pulldown there should be something named
W3D -> Gmax Importer. Click this.
Scroll down on that tool bar farther. Click on the Button named Load
W3D Object. And there you have it. Just browse til you find the file
you want to import and click open. Hope this was clear enough
