Default Animated propellers ?

I'm having an odd problem:
After animating propellers in gmax and observing them function in the W3d viewer, they do not function properly in the game.
I've checked their hierarchy structure and it does match the samples that are in the game.

I suspect it must be a small detail somewhere I overlooked.
Anyone has actual experience of making propellers work and want to shed some light on this puzzle?

whats the code like? you need to have some basics in the code, like the animation name. the animation must have the same name as the model and must be in this format modelname.modelname If you have that done correctly, then im not sure whats wrong, unless it needs to be a hidden object, but im really not sure. I am also having some rotor problems, the ones on my black hawk model work, but the tail rotor is too slow, and im not sure how to solve this.

Bafffff....

I had just replaced the model of an existing plane, because i'm doing some research. I can't believe I forgot to check the code. Embarrassing... :S :S

If someone has the entries that give a helicopter tail rotor a nice speed I'll be interested in them. Will save me from fiddling around at a later date.

Is there a complete tutorial on exporting Animation into Generals ?

About the rotor speed, or any speed factor in fact:

The more distance you make in a given number of frames, the faster it will go in the animation.

If your rotor is running too slow, then increase the degrees the rotor turns in the given number frames:
Let’s say you got a 30 frames animation.
Hit the animation button, move your slider to frame 30 and rotate the rotor 360°.
If the game is setup to play at 30fps, your rotor will revolve 1 time per second, which is slow.
To increase the rotation speed you use a multiple of 360, let's say 1800° or 5 revolves.
To make your life easier you can input that data manually, if you right click on the rotate button at the taskbar.
Disengage the [Animate] button and save out the model as it should and it should turn 5 times faster...

I remodelled the GLA CargoPlane and animated the four rotors at an average speed, it looks good at w3d viewer, but the propellers ingame looks too white(bright). How do you make it more Transluscent or Transparent?
