Default Generals modding

i just purchased generals the other day, to be honest i'm not much of a rts fan but i decided to give it a go.i've been moddeling bf 1942 for about a year now so maybe that experience can help me with modding generals.

so far from everything i've read here ...the g-max, ren-x should be all i need to get started. if anyone can point out a tool i've missed i'd appreciate it

XCC Mixer (xccu.sourceforge.net) or another BIG extractor is a MUST if you want to do any editing at all. And a good text editor also helps I use UltraEdit with INI syntax highlighting myself.

okay, thanks... i've used the g-max extensively moddeling bf 1942 and have a few unused models left over i'll use in generals
