Seriously....its been spammed about left and right in every forum imaginable, is there anything special about this? As in worth trying out?

It was alright. The new units and new buildings where all quite intresting and fun to use, but the buildings and prices got way to big on all the new stuff. It was pretty much nescassary to get an exspansion just to fit the all new buildings.

IMHO it was badly designed. Had it been for RA2 it would have been dubbed your typical n00b mod - full of new units and spectacular superweapons all included 'because they can be' rather than for any coherent reason, but no gameplay or general enhancements.

lol. I posted basically the exact same thing as DZ on CnCMatrix and got flamed like there's no tomorrow. Funny how the prominent members of the community can say that and everyone will agree with them If a mod is bad, its bad. There's no way around it.
I'm not complaining, just pointing it out.

Its fun. Its a luagh. But it is as Dee said, a n00b mod. Some guy came around with his new superweapons and particle effects and wowed the cncMatrix. Most of the bildings and Vehicles were larger versions of normal tings, kitbashed from standard units. Once you got the heavy war factory, there was no use for the standard stuff. Things cost a shit load of money that you could not afford to have unless you had a million supply drops, or a million hackers.Which in hte end takes the fun out of it. By the time you have the big stuff, its an hour into hte game and the enemy has ran out of resources and is just sat there with 2 buildings, not much fun to waste your 15 min mega ultra duper weapon on.
4/10 from me.
The 4 is for hte nice particle and jazziness of the uberweapons. That is all

PURE SHIT, i cant believe I wasted my time even clicking the link, the models were butt ugly and were just cut and pasted versions of existing models. The particle effects were shithouse, anyone who knows half a thing about the particle system will know that (waiting 15 min for the ion cannon which just looked shit) and it is just a plain waste of time.
The people on CNCmatrix must be easily impressed, just imagine what they will do when REAL mods like Blitz2, Fallout and World Crisis are released. Steer clear, its poor to say the least...

Yea, I guess we can't blame them....they don't know what quality mods are...I suppose our teams will have to show them.

Yeah, it would be ok for the early days of Generals, when everybody was just trying out diff. things. Liek the Tech mod and my Generals Revised. But now we've come to far to just add new units and fx.
