Mod Team Being Created, join now
hey all, i been planning a mod for generals for a weewhile (2 days  )
it might end up being a total conversion, im not sure.
well, a quick brief on
the history:
DARK TIMES
america invaded iraq after saddam refused to give up his weapons of mass destruction, and once saddam was crushed, he launched every weapon he had at europe and america, both continents suffered severe casualties, over 90% dead. some of these people mutated. these mutants started attacking other countries, and the people of planet earth did not know how to stop them. a huge army was prepared to attack the mutants, but it went wrong, they were, and crushed by the mutants with their huge numbers. they humans realised that their only hope was to head for a different planet They headed for Thelso, an un-inhabbited planet (or so they thought). they landed there and the knowledge of the mutants became a legend, and then a myth. eventually the humans had re-built their civilistion, and had caught up to the technology where they had left off. humans were going missing often, but this soon became a way of life. little did they know that the mutants hadnt forgotten about them and were making their way to them...
no using this story!!!
ooh scary  well, i gave that to see if anyone would like to help me with building it, i cant let out 2 much info, as i want some to be a surprise for other players. well,if u think u can sparethe time to help, plz pm or post here and let me know, all help will be thankful (also need testers)

well, i got 2 of the armies planned (theres gonna be 3 or more (and maybe some subclasses)) and as i said before, if anyone can lend a hand, i will be extremely gr8ful, it also guarantess u a way into the credits
i need everyone i can get really, so if u fancy helping with the project reply or pm me plz

I have almost finished the plan for the third army, a previously un-met alien race that inhabited the planet thelso before the humans and mutants arrived, these aliends are techologically advanced creatures, able to hide their bases with stealth technology. this is why humans and mutants have not seen them yet. their civilians cities are based underground, away from the humans who would pillage them. the aliens have waited in the dark,hoping that taking humans fomrtheir cities would maybe getthe humans to leave, but the humans ignored this fact, and the aliens have massed a huge army to destroy the humans and mutants.
the aliens (known as 'X') have 3 subclasses to go with them, they can choose stealth, speed or armour. all ofwhich gives them a different hero, a special upgrade, different type of service depot machines and a defencive structure, i dont want to let on too much though 
if anyone is interested in this mod, please say so, as i will need testers etc. also, if anyone would like to join the team (hint hint)
plz reply with comments / ideas etc

kool, thx, willbe a while before its near thatstage i think, ill keep posting updates here tho. planning new surfaces andstuff (gonna be darker terrain to refelct the current inhabitants of the world :evil: the humans are a kind of mix of all the human armies (mainly usa) and the mutants are more firepower and armour, but slow and costly whereas the 'X' army use speed and their cheap cost to quickly attackthe enemy and overwhelm them. they have 3 sub classes, each having a different hero, upgrade ability, transporter thing for supply depots, different upgrade for their heavy tank type unit (Night Walker, it has legs, although im not sure if i will be able to do this, im hoping)
classes are as follows:
Invisible: Lord Xamius
Lord Xavius is a mighty warrior, who is capable of going stealth. He may not have much life but he is the ultimate sniper, capable of killing infantry and vehicles. However, he will quickly be eliminated if fighting directly with enemy units
Fast Attack: Jazarg
Jazarg was an experiment by the X high council to make the ultimate warrior, but thing went wrong, the combat drugs pumped into him made him go mad, and so the high council covered it up, and expelled him from their land. After the high council was assassinated, Jazarg has returned to the military of X. he was soon promoted, and now carries some fearsome weaponry. He owns an automatic pistol, which fire poisonous toxins at foes, poisoning them, and causing them to leave toxic waste after they have been killed. He also carries a dangerous explosive that he can detonate at any time. This will kill him instantly, but will cause a huge explosion, capable of removing the toughest of foes. He moves at fast speeds
Armoured Up: Selik
Selik is a fairly fast, yet high armoured anti tank trooper. He can quickly remove tanks from the battlefield with his damage cannon. This weapon will kill almost any tank available to the armies with its first shot. This weapon disables the circuits of tank unit, destroying them instantly, however is not able to disable the electrical circuits in buildings, and is also useless against infantry due to their lack of electrical circuits. Selik can withstand a lot of fire from enemy units
as i said, i dont want to giveto muchaway so im keeping some bits secret for now  but i will reveal more soon

EDIT: u will also get all the plans so far (of course) including all unit plans for all 3 armies and background info
