Default Personal Mods

Ok i am having this problem with making my own mods.

Now i know that if you want to have a mod without screwing up the game by adding a folder INI to the data map in generals
Now in that ini you put all the crap from your mod, and generals will look into it and change whats ever in there.

Now i putted someones mod into it (airplane mod v1,2) and it works (ofcourse)
But now i had to reinstall generals because i accidently deleted some file in the original.
But now the INI map folder in generals wont work anymore i did exacly what i should have done to do the INI map folder trick.
How can i fix this?

P.S.
he doesnt take the ini map folder, but he CAN use a normal xxxx.BIG
But i hate to reopen reshape that stupid big everytime

P.S.S.
if i place the mod (not in BIG) in the data in a different way it works but it doesnt read any ART

god damn i hate this it used to work perfectly plz help me

How is the INI folder not working?

What is it doing exactly? Crashing the game? Not acknowleding new units...??, etc.....

Yeah my guess is that you did not set up the folders right. If you have edited the factionunit.ini then you need to put it in the following:

C:\program files\ea games\cnc generals\data\ini\object
