Default How do you add Art?

Ok now i have the following problem.

I downloaded a mod to make the comanche an apache.
But i want to have a comanche in the game and an apache.

the ini editing i can do (copy the comanche and add the different W3D models to it so it becomes an apache and change the names)
i did the commandset the commandbutton.

That all i can do and all of that works perfect.

But when i construct the thing and when its finished i get an invisible apache
so my guess is that it cant find the models.

I placed mine in c:\programfiles\EA games\Command & Conquer
so there is the art file i also tried placing it in the Data map.
none works what can i do?

p.s.
the apache is just invisible like it has no model but acts and reacts just like a comanche (like i programmed it to do)

I made a copy of the comanche and putted it down below the original comanche and then added the apache (mod from someone) model to that.
But it didnt show a model or a skin but it acted perfectly like a comanche (just invisible)

make sure that the model file name, and the name of the model inside (if you open the w3d file, the object should be called that as well). are the same.
