another idea : fake generator , it can gererate lager cuanties of most units also can generat fake buildings , these can do absolutely nothing and disapear after a while but are excelent for diseeving the enemy
its dooable but it would need all the units that can be faked to have fake counterparts
it would be unique for the usa
units and buildings can be spawned like ambush special power

Seems to be more of a GLA like thing, but it would be pretty cool for setting up ambushes. Leading enemys with the fakes into the perfect spot.

Not really, it could be as simple as some cardboard boxes that are painted to look like tanks. Doable for them for sure.

It wouldn't be able to go very far. Nothing beyond a tree, not to mention lasers would be easy to see as being fake. Lasers would leave a trail and unless there shinin on something you see nothing.

You can do it ingame fine sure, but saying its lasers making it is stupid and unrealistic.

Costs... I dunno, bout $2000 to make, and basically, you can depoy it newhere on the map. It looks like a UN supply crate, but when the enemy goto take their well deserved "prize". It has a nasty little suprise in it:

NUKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope this is a suitable replacment/guider to what you really want.
