Default How to do mods?

Hey all,
I'm just wondering how are you people making mods? I see that the INI and art files are edited, but is there a GenEdit for Generals? I see that Tiberian Sun and Red Alert 2 have one, even StarCraft. Generals has WorldEditor but, It doesn't do that. Please someone help me, I have a lot of ideas for a mod. It would be call World War X Mod. Please tell me how to do mods.

For now look at the inis... study them... start with the basics like cost, build time, weapons then gradually move up higher and higher till you get to where we are that is how I did it. Practice makes perfect.

Yeah. I saw started when I heard of someone making something cheaper. And now, I am way beyond making things cheaper. just practice, oh yeah read everything possible.

I encourage you to try to release your own mod even if it dosen't become well known, there will still be people who will like it so release your mod and have fun modding.
