Default Help me with this small thing... about bones...

I have a Su-27 model and I want it to be able to have trails from the wings...
Now, I heard that the model needs bones... umm.. I don't know how to do these bones...
any one is kind enough and want to help? :/

I need help with bones to. So far unsucsesfull at finding a tutorial.

an ez way to bone is take an already existing unit and delete everything except the bones u need like MuzzelFX01 , 02
,.....
and import your new model on it
i do have problems with them cuz they are always visible so i have to hide them whitin the body of the model so it doesnt stick out

If they are visible just go to W3D Tools then uncheck export Geometry, but make sure you leave export Transform on.

No problem. When I make a new bone I usually clone the old one so I don't have to re-make the object, size it, re-link it, etc. but you have to re-uncheck export geometry every time you clone a bone

I'm using Max5.1 to make models and finish it in Renx, problem is polycount increases when i export it to Renx.
Now, i'll just stick to Rnex. Both are quite similar.
