Default renx to 3dsmax?

how can i import a renx file into 3dsmax filetype. I didnt boter to use the filetype names in this post, r

You'd need to use the W3D exporter, and get a 3DS compatible importer.

You could export a model without texture information into MD3 and open in 3DSmax.

I'm not sure if MD3 is supported by 3DSMax by default, but there will be a plugin if not.

There will be a new MD3 for Gmax soon that allows texture information to be passed with it. ( Finally ! )
