If anyone has downloaded the demo of Generals, theyll find it installs the missing dll's from the final retail version
Simply copy ParticleEditor.dll and DebugWindow.dll from the demo into your Generals directory and you can run Generals with the -scriptDebug or -particleEdit switches to invoke the particle editor and script debugger
So let me understand this. If you paid 50 US dollars for the game you did not get these tools, nor did you recieve a patch inorder to gain them. However any Tom, D ick, or Harry can obtain them for free now! How quaint er...asnine.
lol. quaint? asnine? more like ***** ****** ****. They better include these in Zero Hour or my head is going to explode because I'm not going to know wether to burst out laughing or fall to knees crying. Does anybody know if they've been improved? I heard the old ones were a bit unstable.
Every day, EA seems to find new ways to make me stop and think "What the fuck are those people at EA smoking?"(Giving infantry guns that are 1 rectangle, when for 30 extra polys u could make them look good, not to mention basing every infantry of the one basic mesh)
But then I realise it's EA and they are money hungry fuckers who dont give a fuck about us gamers and only care for the $$$ and my question is answered.
This is a prime example of this, EA is going to be the death of the C&C franchise, I know it.
Hell im tempted to put an EA SUCKS logo in Fallout where the old EA GAMES logo used to be. Now THAT would be funny!!:lol:
