Yeah the first flame set is really nice.

Maybe I should try recreating em.

ayup, it's alot like da flame right now, a bit more realistic, a bit tweak in da particle system ini and it should looks fine...

Look at the Smoke/Fire when da crusader firing, that was da origional fx but they took it out also, that and da new one looks both fine, da new one more realistc, so is da water, da old one was a fine piece of art there, but you couldn't see da bottom of da lake/stream like da new water do, and da new water is more eye-candy

Well how do I edit the particles to make them look like the beta flames?

Ive had a play about and I reckon Ive got the original flames look again.

Theres 3 steps to getting it right;-

1. You need to open FactionUnit.INI and edit the DragonTankFlameProjectile object. Change the BoneFXUpdate module so it looks like this;-
