Default M1AX Abrams Tank [now with skin]

A little something I'm making atm, just for fun and practice.

This is the M1AX Abrams Tank. I basically made an abrams model, and then decked it out with some massive firepower. I increased the chassis and turret armor, increased the cannon size, and added a missile rack on top just for good measure I'm going to skin it as a realistic skin (I know, not a very realistic tank, but what the heck ) and not Generals style, because I've never tried that before.

The image isn't too good, you can't really see the missile rack very well, but they're there. There are twelve launch points for missiles, along with the huge freaking cannon, so its gonna blow stuff up real good :devil: :lol:

Any changes you want to see before I skin it? Maybe an extra gun or two ? Cuz I'll add it, as long as it makes reasonable sense. The more the merrier (Well actually you can only have three and I've already used two, not including a point laser defense if anyone wants one on it)

Bleh.... the jpg compression looks awful

Edit: I reuploaded it as a .gif, looks a little better now, but still a bad angle.

I dont know much about tanks.... but isnt that turret a bit too big for the body of the tank??

thanks.... I want to get this mofo skinned and check it out ingame. Its gonna be awesome. Ridiculously unbalanced, yes, but awesome .

Not really. Its probably a little top heavy because of all the weapons, but the base turret is proportional. I used an Abrams reference model, so its at least pretty close.

Yeah, I think it'll be something you get if you capture a specific building.

I'm thinking I might add on some rail guns, just for fun I'm gonna see if it makes it look stupid though

yeah.. put rail guns on the side of the turret one on each side

or one right above the barrel

I added the rail gun, its sits on the side of the turret, and is huge

Here's he main body skinned. I haven't completed it yet, so some stuff is cut off (like the grills on the turret) and other things are stretched, but this is the basic concept. I decided not to skin it realisticly because I need more practice making new units uniform with existing ones.

What do you think?
