I take offense to it because I lost friends to the 9/11 attack, I don't support this idea, but I have no control over what he does and I accept that and I am stating that while I don't like the idea of the 747 special, I don't think you should post this topic on any hardcore US sites, but do as you wish with it, but know that if you do post this thing on a hardcore US site you will be harshly rejected and such. Although the other special is cool and seems to be a good one for the US and not China seeing as China has no lasers already.

Vanguard, if you lost friends in a gunfight, would you be opposed to the use of guns in generals?
It's tragic that people died because of the attack, but that's no reason to eliminate it from a game.
Most games always have something that will offend at least one person in the world.
As was said, if you're opposed to the idea then you can avoid the mod.
As for your statement that you would get harshly rejected and such, that is true, mainly because most people are closed minded. The terrorists had no right to come to the states and attack you that way, but what right did the states have to do any of the things that it's done?
It's a two sided coin, you can't just say that you were terribly hurt for no reason, there's always a reason behind it.
Look at all the other countries that haven't been attacked, all of them have one thing in common, they haven't been sticking their noses where it shouldn't belong.

I'm not eliminating it, but what I'm saying is that I just don't like that idea, and if an American citizen game were to crash it into a tall building that is just sick I think.

Just everytime I think about it I think of what it was like in the eyes of the people on the plane and in the towers, imagine a jet coming at you knowing your about to die and can't say good by to your friends and family, then on the plane calling with a cell and saying goodbye to your family and even thinking you might try and crash the plane into the ground or something like those other guys. That is why I dislike it I can literaly see the thoughts of those people who died and see the look on their faces dosen't that move you at all. Put yourself in their families shoes and you saw this guy come up with this special don't you think you would be even a little mad?

Please don't get me wrong: I am feeling sorry for all the people that have lost a relative or friend in the terrorist attack of 9/11.
This however shouldn't stop someone from creating something that looks like it. I can (but won't) give many reasons why it shouldn't be banned, but that would be nothing but an echo of the previous posts.
Please don't bash whomever made this or will make something like this in the future. They have a right to publish things like this.
You can however (gently) remind them of the hurting caused by such an event.
