Vengence have a point to include Davion, but having a 4th side means a lot of work and modelling. I'm basing the mod on MW4 and MC2 coz i don't have nor played the other expansions. I do plan on buying the mercenaries, so mechs would be the mix of mw4, mc2, and merc.

Here's the same problem that I had with the other thread: What are we gonna call this mod? Also, I need an answer to wether or not we'll use that system I devised or not. Until I get Generals back on my comp, I'm just another ideas man.

Well, what's the mod about exactly? If it's something from a single-player campaign, you could call it a name from that.

If you ppl are interested, I could write a story for your mod - I am currently busy on a short one about a Smoke Jaguar mechwarrior working on a IS planet as a rebel/terrorist, trying to start arebellion against the local IS garisson. If you guys are interested, drop me a line.

Apart from that, the ideas look really good, keep up the good work!

If there will be a single player (which will take a long time unless you make this mod based on the Kentares IV conflict) the clans are too bashed up and too few in numbers and I dought the people in the IS would join them so I don't think a Clan rebellion would be good. I am a very good storymaker too but I can't think of anything creative yet. Wait a bit longer, I'm sure I could think of something.

Sorry for the lack of updates for the TC. I still don't have a definite story for it yet coz i'm quite busy now w/ my job, website, and Mech weapon systems.
The weapon systems is still kept private, DarkAngel needs to test it further.

If you can write a good story, you can post it at my site, so we can decide on an appropriate STORY. Here's the link http://www.hamziegamers.net/nukie/mo...pic=14&forum=4.

I guess nobody likes to skin mechs for the mod. Too bad, this mod will take longer to finish.

thanks,
aladin

I like to skin mechs but I can't make them from scratch.

I can make them, as long as I have a model to go off of. I got a friend who collects the figurines for some weird game, I can borrow some of his models and make mechs in Gmax based off of them. I had the Shadowcat, but I lost it in a reformat.

Aladin, if you ever get a chance to, can you send me a tutorial on how to specificly make mechs.

HEY, I got a story line!

I think I have an idea, but not final:

Steiner lost many good officers during most of their conflicts. Lord Roland along with his occupation forces lay dead on Kentares. Despite their losses, Ian Dressari's sister is dead (Black Knight story line) killed because Ian abandoned her to get an armory and the throne, Steiner enjoyed a brief victory after the success of the Black knight Legion for killing Ian, but they were infuriated when Steiner Major Mellisa Dupree betrayed the legion and killed the legion's leader but in the end lost her life by the replacement leader know as Eric "Black Knight" McLair. Even after many losses, things get worse, Steiner loses Carver 5 and one of their best loyalist: Colonel David Renard. In the end Steiner was defeated again. But not anymore.

After years of silence, Katrina Steiner ordered the design and construction of new and even more deadlier mechs and pilots. With her massive new army, she stepped up her attacks on House Liao and Davion so she alone would rule the IS. This is where the Mech Commanders come in to controll each house's forces, who will be victorious? Only the best commander will succeed...

How do you like it?

At somepoint in the battle tech universe a rip in space and time sucks a fleet of mechs nack in time and to the earth. Several mechs apear in each of the main powere HQs They take advantage of these new found mechs. People disasemble and reassemble them in hopes of mass production. Over time they acomplish this, and a new level of war breaks out on earth.

kinda crappy I guess. :/

Pretty good but rips in time... Not very likely.
