Default my airplane shadows need fixing..

I just made a model and replaced the raptor, but the shadows are stuffed.

Yes I know the engines and skin need work but I dont need help there (for now!)

What do I need to do to make the shadows work porperly?

Yeah they are hornets

Looking at the picture I made the left half and mirrored the right, the right is the side messed up, ill go and check those vertices and make sure they are welded thanks General.

** I just deleted the polygons from the underside of the wing, now no bad shadows

I think they're talkiing about unwelded overlapping verts, or possibly faces with incorrect normals.

I am n00b thats like a foriegn language lol

All vertices were welded...

I guess Ill go take a look at help topics see what an "incorrect normal" is heh

Its all good anyway, I just deleted the bottom polygons, the only reason I had them on the bottom in the first place was so it was easier when I modelled it, still gotta optimise it a lot on the underside, currently its a mess under there
