If you replace Iraq with Russia then you'd lose the Guerilla tactics, wouldn't you? That's a shame, Generals has all kind of scraphunting and tunneling possibilities and you wouldn't use it.

Smurf, your idea is good, but, there are many other countries on the verge of having superconducters, and lasers are already possible, just not worth it for the usage of power.
