swooping planes
i wanted to imitate the dive run that the A10s do. i know they do it using an OCL, which, to my understanding, wouldnt really work for a regular unit. I did notice i can get a plane to dip down using "AttackLocomotorType =" (see aurora) and then come back up afterwards, the only thing is that if i tell it to attack from across the screen, it'll dip down there and stay down until it reaches its target.... is there someway to prevent it from swooping until it is actually in sight of its target or something along those lines?
thanks

arg...there's gotta be some way....would it be possible to change to locomotor when the weapon begins firing, as opposed to when the user clicks on the target?

I think it may only be possible if its a plane which comes from off screen like the A10 becus all the stuff about it diving is in the OCL.

Yup, its done via the OCL and the weapon (the two are linked) - I did it with the Starlifter in ProGen, it dips as it drops off the tanks.

why the **** dont you just tell him the idea, ffs things would get done a lot quicker if people were not so anally retentive when it comes to sharing information.

Was that necessary? He probably wanted to test it to see if it works before giving out the stuff....
