Default Keyboard mapping help please CommandMap.ini?

one thing I hate about generals is I cant change my keys!!!! it is rediculous!

Anyway, Ive done some looking and apparently CommandMap.ini is where I do it, but the file is blank :/ The links I found that were supposed to goto a detailed description went to the now defunct C&C boards.

Im using ver1.6, do any of the earlier versions have anything in there? Or the demo version? Any of you know how to accomplish this?
