Default choppers that land when idle like the RA2/YR NightHawk

I made a new chopper model and I want it to land on the ground when idle like the RA2/YR NightHawk when it's not used, you can see it landed on the ground but when above some water, it stays on the air. This involves the locomotor right? I fiddled it but can't figure it out. Any help pls? Thanks very much

Never tested it just brainstorming here.

What if you would switch locomotors between normal and taxiing.

Meaning he would taxi normally and fly when ordered to.

The water thing? uhmmm i dont know if it will even be thinkebel?

The first step to wisdom is to know you know nothing...
Don't show off your ignorance, Pieten, as in your case, it attracts sarcasm like sugar attracts bees...

Indigo,
There are several ways to change the locomotor in Generals.

-> Through the jetAIupdate, where you can switch between attacking and a post-attacking phase.
-> You also have the locomotorSetupgrade behaviour tag, where you can trigger a new locomotor through an upgrade.

Hint: it is possible to automatically grant upgrades....

also, the chinook lands to pick up troops through an AI update, not the locomotor.

I'm fairly sure that if troops walked on water then the chinook would land on the water to pick them up.

if troops walked on water then we are knda being stupid, you have to keep the laws of physics... although an aquatic tank for the gla would be nice
