Default Any easier way to save uvmaps in 3ds?

I use the print screen method, and, well... its getting painful.. :S

Is there any way to save the uvmaps in 3ds directly to jpg or bmp, or some graphic format... :S

PrintScreen, Ctrl+V, Crop, Done

I use it, and it doesn't seem to take too long. I don't use 3DS so I don't know if there is a way. But my guess would be, no. :/

well, im using 3d studio max... (3ds)


and thats the printscreen method i was using... was just wondering if theres a plugin, or something that directly saves the uvmap to jpg/bmp/whatever...

I think it is called TexPorter. Try a Google search for that.

Haven't had much time on it. Getting the 40K mod website going was my main task of last week. Once i get the hosting confirmed and the site stable then i can go back to the models.
