one thing that i havent seen alot of in Generals is those oddball scripted maps that you'd find in starcraft....like bomberman, "paintball", and even mini-rpgs. Granted i think its a bit more ofuscated to do these sort of things in the Generals World Builder....but i dont think its impossible.....might make for a fun project....in fact when i get tired of playing around with ini files i might give that a shot myself.....
another project idea i've been toying around with is creating a program that would parse the ini files and allow you to edit them in a neater format. like you'd pick from drop down menues
USA->Airforce General->Vehicles->King Raptor
and then it would just find the particular location of the correct ini, and only bring onto the screen the King Raptors ini code....maybe even seperate the graphics and logistics code.....and once you've made your changes it the program would be able to go back into the actual ini and edit and save everything
or a Generals or ZH "evolves" map, although that would seriously lag the game
btw, Evolves is a map in starcraft where u got a science vessel and a bunker, units spawn out of the SV, more enemy people u kill, better units spawn out of SV, u die if ur bunker dies
