Default Generals d-day meets Pacific front

Like said before: Generals D-Day and Pacific front have joined eachother. We've now become 'The finest hour'. We're making a total of 7 sides: The d-day team is making: Uk, Germany and Italy, The pacific front team is making: Japan, Usa, and Australia. When we've finshed those six we'll make together Russia

When the previous time we posted there was no attention we decided to give you some screens to confince you this is going to be a good mod:

Let's start with a War factory for germany:

Then the Barracks for germany:

After that the Atomic research center for germany:

The british aifield:

The british War factory:

The Gloster 'Meteor' for Britian:

The spitfire:

The english jeep:

Then we have the Oil plant for the uk:

The australian apc:

And finally the type-97 tank

We don't have much in-game pics cause I had no time to make them but their will be some soon on our website. Our website is updated daily so please check it out

everything is great, except the primary color you used
it's to much, maybe you should mix some of black in the color you used in youe texture ex" Red, Blue, Yellow
it maybe more enjoyable to see it in game

I have an idea. Quit your mod. Right now. Then, I'll screen your team members, and pick the best ones to join Blitz2. I probably come off sounding arrogant as hell, but think about it. Two mods, doing pretty much the same thing...1 of the mods has been around for much longer (3/4ths of a year longer) than the other. The most logical choice would be to help out with the one that is nearly done.

Ok, if you don't want to do that...at least convince that other ww2 mod floating around there to merge with you guys. They have a topic over at sliepners(sp?)...

I will agree with smurf here, a going head to head with Blitz2 is a good way for your mod to commit suicide, however i do like your stuff, 7 sides does seem a bit ambitious though, unless you have 30-40 team members

I'm not saying they will commit suicide, I'm just saying that efforts would be better spent on just one ww2 mod...

Unless all the team members of "The Finest Hour" are allowed to help out with Blitz2 then I don't think they will like the idea. I think they'd rather be on a mod team that is going up against yours, rather than watch the rest of "The Finest Hour" team (and friends) move on to help you make Blitz2. Lets say they do have 30-40 members, and you only take 5 of them... what are the rest supposed to do..?

hmm, people are always telling ww2 mods to merge. looks like one did, and now people arent happy.

and both of our mods have been around since may. our teams work got halted for a while a few weeks back because of that gmax file corruption error, but now we are back on track. i just don't think you are happy because now you might have some actual competition on your hands, sure our units don't look as good as yours, but if 2 teams combine all their work, they might end up with alot more ideas and concepts than you think.
