opals they're pretty cheap nowadays, you can buy one that can run generals at full capacity at a very good fps for like 80 bucks or less (geforce fx 5200 128mb)

Yeah i know the effects stop when firing.

But...

A. on the screenshots i saw different beams WAY cooler.

B. even when its standing still it does NOT show ANY distortion.

I would ahve a better one, but I need a new motherboard to, getting to both of them is pretty exspensive. :dead:

The MicroWave is really dull. The distorytion could better be given to the ECM, since it disorientates missiles.

not really, microwave tank is alot more effective than ecm, plus ecm looks a lot gay"er" than it

microwave can stop da warfactory or barracks from producing units or can be used as a siege unit and stop da stinger/patriot/even bunkers effectively while tomahawks blowing them up (da effect is that it prevents da tomahawk missles from getting destroyed)

I personally find it a dull unit. It isn't really much more than a hacker, at least the ECM has the innovative missile desorientating system.
