VB = Visual Basic 6.0 !

But that's not why the components are so big ! I'm even using non windows standard components and mostly all components which wheren't shipped with Windows 9x ! :S

But as I said, I'll make a smaller installation for patches and people how now which components are installed or want to try it without downloading so much !

It's not only the size of the distribution, but it's also the performance. Compared with XSTE, your tool takes a long time to load a file.

Long time to load ? The performance is a little bit weaker with VB, but the error handling makes it take much longer to load ! :scared:

But I have speed up the loading some percents in the next version I will upload tonight !

And I've integrated a SCIENCE editor in it !

Apparently that isn't a rule here, which is odd because it is in most other places. Still annoying though.

Anyway, the reason the link doesn't work is because this topic was made about 9 months ago and the website has since disappeared. Try searching the forums for something similar, or you could try the "Trade Secrets Revealed" thread which is pinned, as that has something by DZ about using a .str instead of a .csf which takes up less space and can be modified with NotePad
