Default CSF Problem

Hi,

I added extra codes into the CSF editor, and named in generals.csf, and put it into data/english. Everything works fine, but the problem is that the long lines are cut off. For example he tactical analysis at the end of the the skirmish gaem is like 80% cut off. I didn't change anything, I just added a couple of strings which work properly.
What is the problem?

Does anybody else know a good csf editor, scorpios9 puts little squares at the end of the string.

Thanks,
-Mishkin- or The Russian Dude

You need to use the CSF editor from Panzerfather trust me its the best one out there.

Thumbs up to you panzerfather great program.

This CSF editor does not give any bugs it uses the full lines, you must be using an old version i had the same problem.

One thing though! you need to enter all your NEW CSF entries from your mod in this CSF editor since it uses a different formating.

So you cant use the CSF you have now.
You have to load up an ORIGINAL CSF from generals and then add your CSF codes with it from your mod to have it 100% full proof bug proof and working

Just start early with this editor and you dont have problems

Hey. the generals editor which i downloaded from wolf-town, doesnt work. I downloaded the latest file Generals Editor.RAR. Do I have to download the one before the last one?

I think the latest file is just an update.

I have a similar problem but it sometimes gets fixed by itself for some reason...

another more evil one is that wherever there are new lines in what I input (mostly in CONTROLBAR:ToolTipWhateverUnit), I get a weird box symbol...

Yeah, the squares at the end of the lines is a huge bug. It's just there in the Scocpios9 CSF editor.

P.S. Fritz - I love ur models, they look like they've been done by the EALA team.
