Absolutely Brilliant! I'm working with a different tool , Rhinoceros or Rhino 3d for short. You're models look almost like they came from EA themself! I model with NURBS , i have NO idea if that's almost the same as Generals.


Now some info you guys don't care about :

I've been working 4 years on the game of Total Annihilation. The best game where you can add your own units withouth too much trouble. Now im moving on , to Generals. So what do i need? Textures , modelling tool? Speaking of that tool , is it possible i can model my units IN Rhino and import them into Gmax and apply textures on it??

Rhino 3D is a verry nice tool-i`ve worked with it for some time.

I've always been trying to get my units into Generals. Although i think it's harder then it looks. Rhino 3d is a powerfull tool , and could be even more powerfull if i could use this for Generals.

Anyway , i've been thinking of adding

Nuclear tank for China ( Just like the one on page 1 )
Defense System for China ( Artillery cannon (?) )
Mig type airplane for China ( For bombing only )

Two barreled tank for USA ( To get rid of those Overlords )
Harrier airplane for USA ( Hovering abilty , with animations )
Sniper Drone for USA ( Moddeled after the Sketches of the USA )

Terrorist Airplane for GLA ( NOT Related to 9/11 )
Sniper for GLA ( NOT Jarmen Kell )
Toxic Grenadier ( Like good ol' Tiberian Sun )

Ofcourse , this takes a while to model but the tanks are not a problem. The infantry will be. I can be talking like this ... but a modeller is lazy , perhaps Generals will offer something new :P

Ouch , well i got my Tank Hunter for the USA Ready.


Texturing is a bitch though. RenX isn't the handiest tool out there for texturing. The second problem IS that i really don't know what the USA Tank Textures are. Using XCC Mixer i looked into the Generals Textures.big.


They really SHOULD make an easier Texturing tool.

All i can say is : Quit your whining. You havent posted anything for a week now. I just post my Grey-scale's in here. There not even close of being ready for Generals so what the heck is your problem!? :/

Simply make your own thread and post about your stuff in there.It would be a lot more easier for people, visiting the Forum.
