that explosion type shockwave in the middle area looks generalsish to me.

I want to know if that portrait of hte unit is rea land animated or not.

All hes done is coded it so that the buttons are in different places. By changing the co-ords.

And your telling me after staring at generals for so long that you cant tell the particle effects appart from other games. ? WC3 is older than Generals and the lovely effects are good but not as good as generals. In that first pic, theres a flare type explosion. And the missiles coming from the Reapers are also generalish.

Also, those certainly arnt original from the voxels as they look nothing like hte models ingame (played starcraft one too many times) and since Vxel are so low quality compared to their cutscene counterparts, i highly doubt it. Taking hte game making process from TS, in order to make the units, the models are used from the cutscenes that the CGI artists make, they are then super low poly-ised and transformed into voxels. Making a voxel into a quality looking model would involve remaking the bloody thing. Especially since they have no back lol

And the starport looks, wrong.. so thy cant be straight from game.

Looks real to me.

Looks nice anyway and i cant wait. Always wanted a Starcraft 2 even if it isnt official

Goliaths need to look a little nicer. They were more like exo-suits rather than the madcats that im seeing in that pic smurf posted.

I'am convinced that those screenshots are real, straight from Generals, the explosions are from Generals. Anyway, does anyone know when he is going to release the mod. That mod looks SOOOOOOOOO...... sweet.

Er.. am I reading this wrong or do you people think Starcraft was made with voxels?

If so you're... wrong... Starcraft is a sprite based game. The idea that another company would be dumb enough to use voxels is amusing. There's no way anyone could rip art from starcraft and use it in generals other than the interface elements, they don't have enough dimensions :P

Actually the melding part I can put together in about 2 minutes. All I need to do is make an OCL that when the two use an ability, they die and generate an Archon, or dark archon.

yeah, the ocl part would be easy, but how would you make the archon only appear when there are 2 templar deaths?

One way i could see this happening would be to do the same thing the firestorm does, that is make the templar fire a weapon on death with the historic weapon bonus, with a small radius, but a very long time. Then when there are 2 of those weapons fired in that radius then the OCL for an archon is called.

Either that or a weapon that can only target other Templar's, when you attack another templar with it, the attacking templar dies, so does the one that gets attacked, and an archon is made.

That still leaves the siege tank problem though, unless you want the unit to die when it deploys and ocl another unit in it's place, and then when it undeploys it dies again and ocl's yet another unit in it's place, but then you lose the Veterancy levels, and also the unit count at the end of the game would be screwed up.
