I don't quite know what you mean about the color application. Does it need to be done on the skin, or do you already have the skin done? If you have the skin applied, you can adjust the colors with the Renegade Material navigator, otherwise you need to create a skin.
No no no look, i am using chris' double barreled paladin tank, now i fixed the pivot problem with the tank but all of a sudden the colours are different on the tank, it uses already an TGA file for a skin but somehow colours underneath it show up (you know the colours that it shows in gmax without skin) and thats pretty darn irritating
I think you need to adjust the color settings in the Renegade tools. They could be screwed up. They are in the second or third tab in Pass 1, they should be a nice gray for the first two, and I believe white for the second set.
When you have the skin applied, hit M, to bring up the Renegade material navigator, then choose the button that is an arrow pointing to a blue ball. Just make sure that everything that is selected is in one file. After that, you can adjust the colors in the Pass 1 tab.
Because i did what you said and i made the first 2 grey (130,130,130 colour) and the 2 other ones white (255,255,255 colour) but now it shows up completly white ingame
