I disagree with that.

I'm going to make a "man made lightning", or PPC as they call it in BattleTech and I have a sew thoughts based on earlyer experiments.
I haveto say its not going to look exactly like the teslacoil, a bit more like the cannons they used in the matrix, but I think it will be the closest to it from what I've heard. Anyway the main beam is a zig zag/jittery blue beam and I'm going to try to ad a lot of spark effect along the beam.
Based on previous work on the particle system I think I can pull it off, but I'm not sure how good its going to look.
probably in a week or 2 I'll have it, I'm to busy right now getting everything ready to release a beta of the "Capellan Solution" - a TC for generals base on BattleTechClassic (the non-M$ version of mechwarriror)

I know, I have to increase weapon speed, and change 2 or 3 other values.
I'm going to make it 1 thicker bolts surrounded by 3 thin bolts. I'll post it when ready.

Yeah! needs some particle effects same as of ra2, when the bolt hits the ground it shows some electric charges. but for the effort good work man
