Default Pathfinder painting targets

I was wondering if it is possible to have a pathfinder have a second weapon which paints a laser on a taget and allows the tomahawk to either shoot farther or faster *kinda like the avenger*. I do not know if someone else has tried this yet, I have many pages to look through as I have not been on this forum in a couple of months. Anyway I was just wonderign if it was Possible.

i dont know if youve done this, but search this forum cause someone made a ranger that could paint a target to call in an airstrike. I think if you can see that code it might be similar. and if you did that already, way to be on top of your game

Can't you just use the avengers weapon, but edit it a bit. Just my guess.

No, what he wants is a weapon on one unit which orders another unit to fire its weapon. I wanted it for Tau Pathfinders (no relation )for the Only War mod. They would light up a target with 'markerlights' and then a tank armed with a smart missile system would automatically open fire on the targeted unit.

Didn't 'waypoint targeting' in Pro:Gen do that? (The ordering tomahawks to fire part)

I am not really sure on what waypoint targeting did, I think it acted like the patriots did, when one fires it shows the target to the nearby units so they can fire. I am unsure of this though.

To find out about waypoint targeting search for 'Tomahawk Remote Control'. I advise you not to make a topic about this or you will get flamed to eternity and DeeZire himself will lock the topic (like what happened to me )
