Default N00b question: Is this possible?

Hi

I have a quick question, is it possible to create a multiplayer map on generals that contains new vehicles & skins that I have created, so that I can then play them online?

im pretty sure you cant put new content on maps themselves. maps can only reference existing content.

Yes its possible, you just need to make sure that the other person has the EXACT same ini's as you.

Yes, so make sure to give the other person or whoever the exact same INI's that you have when launching the game.

Otherwise you cant match with your friends or anybody else if you have ur own mod.

Wait a minute, doesn't it read from "W3D" in the maps directory and presumably "Textures" for additional content added to maps. And then you also have Map.ini, no?

I think RVMech included some extra W3Ds in one of his maps, so I have that directory set up :drunk:
