LOL, I know that :P But there were different countries in the world at the time (mostly unofficial I guess because no UN :P but broder were widely accepted). There can be ancient Chinese Emperors, Kings of France, Germany, Britain, Feudal Japanese Emperors, etc.

Calling it Kings makes it unique. Sometimes you just have to take historical accuracy out back and shoot it in the head, and then move on. Things can't always be exactly accurate. I think the Kings idea works fine.
