Goodbye, everyone.... and I'm sorry
Hello everyone. Some of you might know me, others may not. I've been a rather quiet member of the CnC community, since the RA2 days. I've made some great friends, and thankfully very few enemies. =) Over the years I've been a part of several projects, including working for several mods, and even a sprint at CnCDen as a news poster. So, where am I going with this? Well, in short, I'm not going to be online for a long while, maybe years.
So what does this mean for my Generals mod, currently in production, An Act of War. Well, I'm leaving Joe (big_poppa) and Sara in charge. I'll be mailing them CDs of all the work done so far. Don't worry, AAOW isn't going anywhere. Well, now, I'd like to say some goodbyes:
Lion - You're been a loyal help ever since I became part of the CnC community. You've always been willing to post my work and news, and you run THE BEST CnC site on the Net. Thanks for everything, you old cat! =)
RMVECH - You helped me out on several occasions when I was having map difficulties a while back. Many thanks!
The folks over at Deezire.net - Deezire, you run the best message board in the CnC Community. Thanks! And, a BIG thank you too all of you on the forums who helped my mod out, and gave advice. There's far too many, but you know who you are. Thank you so much, AAOW wouldn't be were it is today without you!
The folks over at CnCMatrix - Malc, Second Wave was part of my inspiration for AAOW. Great job, and keep it up! Also, thanks to the many of you on the CnCMatrix Forums who helped me out and gave their opinions.
My GREAT host, PlanetCnC - To Dario especially, thank you so much guys! You really helped get the word out about An Act of War.
And, finally, my GREAT team! Joe, you were there since the beginning, you were a great friend and an encouragement. I'm leaving everything up to you and Sara because I trust you.
STURM-SHREK, you are a TERRIFIC skinner! You really brought AAOW alive and got the ball rolling. You're always full of great ideas and support. I wish you the best of luck as you continue with AAOW!
Sara, you produce great work! You're always ready to help, even with your real life getting in the way. You and Joe will do a great job running things, I'm sure. I'm very glad you're a part of the team!
Hattori, I haven't got to talk to you much, as you just joined, but I'm glad for your help, and I'm sure you'll do great work!
To my beta testers: I'm sorry about the long wait, but you guys were always supportive (and full of questions! hehe). Thank you, and look forward to working with your new team.
To anyone I forgot, there's SO many: Thank you all for your support, and a great three years as part of the CnC community. I'm going to miss you all, farewell, and I hope to return soon!
Dave, aka, PCTeen1

Are you leaving due to real life reasons? or you are just done with modding?
Either way, I am sorry to see you go...and wish you the best of luck.

Thanks, smurfbizkit. I'm leaving for real life reasons. I'd love to keep worknig on AAOW, but, as I can see it, I've got about 19 minutes left. Good luck with Blitzcraig II, that, SecondWave, and Imperial Assualt are the most promising I think.

Hey everyone. I just wanted to say thanks for everything. I'm leaving (at least for a little bit) for several reasons.
1. Schoolwork... I failed an exam... ops:
2. My girlfriend, my mod has been taking up too much time hehe
3. Family, pretty much the same deal, too much time spents "working".
Anyway, I got grounded for failing that exam, and things looked like I wasn't gonna be back for a while. I may be in luck, they think my failnig grade was a mistake... anyway, that you everyone, and I'll keep you posted.
Oh, one last thing... my email has been... "zapped". To talk to me, try this one: PCTeen1@cncgames.every1.net

We all remember Oldmanfunks 'great departure'. He came back crying after a month, lol.
