Default Feasible? - Combat Drop for Any/All Infantry?

Hey guys, how are you all today? Flu's clearing up a tad for me... Sorry to disappoint some of you Anyway, today's question involves the Combat Drop....

First off, is it possible to have any and all types of infantry rope down from a helicopter in Generals (NO Zero Hour)?

Secondly, is it possible to enable other choppers the ability to combat drop infantry?

Eh, I am on a roll, might as well go for a third question...

Is it possible to have an airborne unit carry a vehicle slung underneath the fuselage?

Thanks a lot for your time guys. Remember this is without Zero Hour!

1st Q: Yes, just add CAN_RAPPEL into the KindOf bit of the unit ini. It may also need rappelling animations though....

2nd Q: Yes, use the ChinookAIUpdate from the Chinook You will also need to change the command set to have a button to activate the combat drop and your model will need some extra bones (see the Chinook model).

3rd Q: ....yes, maybe. I'm sure I saw a screenshot of it somewhere but I'm not sure how to do it.....

well, yeah, just add the correct command lines and the first 2 are do-able, then as for the third, look at how the chinook carries its supplies, im not sure how exactly it is done, but if you were to attach some bones to the vehicles, or to the helicopter, then it should be quite easy to do. And you have given me an idea for a new unit i wish to make.

Not the third you saw that in henfords mod and that is just a special animation that is made when a dozer is put in the chopper it changes the model, but it only happens with the dozer.

It's possible, but only if you make like a hundred new models for the chinook.

No, you wouldn't have to. Just use the Firebase code that makes the units contained inside it appear at a bone on the model.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't you just have to make a bone under the chinhook model and then use the firebase code?

(Dont ask me how, I dont own Zero Hour)
