Well ... essentially, that's what we've done, and look at the product.. not so good.

I guess we'll have to figure out particle effects (if noone else is willing to help us). Where do we start with that? (We'll have to know how to do particle effects for lightsabers anyway...)

I think he meant missile afterburners which are a red glow. If we can make it a line instead of a dot then that would work.

But we still aren't going to have a glowing effect in which the middle is a bright yellow or white, and the outside glows a deep red.... it's still gonna be transparent and fake-looking

I told you, seperate pulses of light are scientificly non existent
So I will not put them in our mod
If they want to do it, fine .. but I'm against the seperate pulse object idea myself.

not if you choose the right texture to begin with ...

yeah its being a pain in the ass-- every time i try to change a variable it shuts down on me do to a technical error. And I have a 2.53ghz P4 and 512 MB RAM. crapstick.
