Default RenX Bones Problem

Hi everybody, happy holidays!

Now on to my RenX problem.

I am combining 2 models together in RenX, and after trying to export them, I get this error.

Bones with duplicate names found!
This could be due to names exceeding 16 characters.

DUPLICATE NAME: ADDEDBONE4

So, I can not export my model.

Can anybody tell me how to fix this, or how do I renamethe bone.

You have duplicate names and you have two choices: 1. rename other bones & 2. delete other bones (when deleting make sure you delete the right ones and correct the linking)

Ok...

Well, can you give me a quick tut on how to do that?
I am a complete idiot in RenX...

One more thing, if I renam the bones, something could gow wrong with the unit right? Like animation won't work or something.

You mainly just click on the bones to select them and if there is more than one at the same spot you just keep clicking on them to cycle through. I recomend that you try and find one of the bone tutorials.

Or you can press 'h' (I think) and it should bring up a 'Select Object By Name' box. Or maybe not, it's a long time since I tried......

Ah, I see, thx both of you guys.

2 more things.

1. Lets say I combined 2 models together and renamed the duplicate bones of one model to whateverthenameisA.

Will that affect anything like the animation of the unit?

2. Can someone point me to the name of the texture for the Overlord's gattling cannon (not the normal gat cannon).
I just can't seem to find it.
