Default Modeling Help

I was wondering if there is anyway that you can open a .w3d file in gmax or can you only start a new model compleatly?

I have the renegade gamepack already

There's a w3d importer you can get. Don't exactly know where to get it but now you know what you're looking for.

Thanks for the help but...

This is probobly something really basic but i just can't findout how to work the importer. Even through I unzipped it into the gmax directory the button just doesn't show up when i am in Renx.

make sure it is in the right path (the renx scripts folder), when that is done open up renx > go to the tab with the hammer on it, click on "Max Script" > "Run Script" > then in that drop down box select it > scroll down > a "load w3d" button should apear. click it to import a w3d object.

I have no idea what i am doing wrong. I have selected it from the drop down box but then i am unable to scroll down becuase nothing happens.

Could someone pleae tell me what i am doing wrong
