Yeah, if henford will allow it, I'll start working with my contact to release things, but I don't want to do that until he says yes that's fine.

Yea I know they say they have a % of what is left, which is why I said that he wouldnt' show interest in working on a mod that is 5% done (which from what I've heard, is about all that is there in comparison to what he had done before).

As for continuing fallout by another team...why? there are plenty of other teams that are actually active and could use the help

fallout was henfords thing...lets leave it at that

Mastermind2003, smurfbizkit : If (a) Fallout isn't continued by someone else, and (b) Henford (or the modeller themselves) actaully gives permission, I'd like to use some of that stuff in my mod. Definitely some of his USA buildings, and maybe the negotiator. I run 'Warlord Sponge and the Wheels of Steel' over at C&C Intel, and could really use some decent models.

You could always take the "fried" harddrive to a computer store and ask if they can rescue any data off it for you. Same method a big corporation would use. Aparently it's not that expensive.

Well I believe that might be a waste of money, if you mean a small computer store. You've got all the tools to rescue a hard disk right in front of you.

For a lot of people, doing it yourself isnt the most cost effective method.Espeically if they have a nice paying job that they would rather do and then pay someone else to do stuff for them!

Heh, lol. I'd be too lazy to do it and would prolly just take it in to a place to get it fixed if it was reasonably priced and I had lost something like a mod I'd worked on for several months (a year??).
