Default game input problem please help

when i input a large or small admount of data while editing zerohour the put it back to .big form the program comes up with a error

but yet when i edit it bit by bit and boot it up after each bit it works

when i have done this and it is exactly the same as the big input
it still works

why?
is there some block on inputing to much new data or is there a log file that only allows for small changes inbetween each boot?

please help :S :S :S

There maybe a problem with what you are inseting.

Firstly are you actually editing the .big file itself or have you seperated out the .ini's? You should be doing the editing to ini files, not the .big files(Unless of courese you've made your own with Finalbig or Tibedit or something)

Second, if that doesnt help run WorldBuilder and look at the crash release data, it will help you debug your problems. It gives the exact line that problems occures.

Hope this helps

Place the big file in the ZH folder like normal, then run the Worldbuilder.exe. It should be in the start bar menu along with the ZH executable. Run it, Worldbuilder will start loading, then crash. Look into the World uilder folder and find the releasecrashinfo.txt file. It will give you a list of the first problem it encountered.

Fix the problem and keep doing that, until World builder loads up. It's a bit slow going, but it really helps track down the problems.
