Hmmm, now comes the tough part.... None of them speak or read English. In fact, they are so extraverted from the "English" world that they forgot to release their beta to anyone except their native Chinamen. Unidentifiedname, who you all know isn't a thief, is their liason and had to remind them about their english fans.

Either way, he's the only one who can handle this, and so far, I see no posts from him. I mean, I work at Unleashed and I guess we'd just stop hosting them if they were found guilty as charged. I think it casts a dark shadow on us.

Of course, as the Public Relations guy for the NOVA Modding Team, I say, don't make a mod unless you planning on creating your own items.

I say rip away lol

Now seriously who learns to do something without mimicing those who already know how to do it?

You dont learn a musical instrument by just playing your own thing(well very few ppl) - you play other peoples stuff! Hell nearly EVERYTHING is ripped and modified from somewhere else.

OMF uses EAs models but he changes the skin - OMG what a ripper lol and any of the rest of you who have modded generals

Besides, musicians CANT just play someone else's copyrighted song and release it on a cd. This is how models and skins are looked at. If you play their song and dont put it on a cd and realease it it's allright.

When you start getting paid for your work by a developer then start whining about intellectual property

Your all using some of EAs stuff in your releases be it code or watever so dont be hypocritical!

kyop, its called professionalism. You don't rip other peoples work without even asking them first and pretend you made it. Thats just low. And you certainly don't learn by ripping other peoples stuff. You learn by trying it for yourself and doing tutorials and such. Its clear they know how to model and code because they have other elements of their mod unelss everything is ripped, which I doubt. So ripping a model would not even help them learn everything so that argument, pathetically weak as it is, is void.

And then theres the flipside of the coin called maturity

Copyright does not exist to protect egos Its there to protect peoples livelihoods. And honestly, seeing as though no-one has any proof whatsoever at this stage and havent even talked to the alledged culprits, nothing should even have been said.It reminds me of my young nieces and nephews bickering.

I dont see the difference in using EAs models and code to using any other persons who has released them. They are making a large mod, and its jsut one of the pieces.
