Then I have a piece of advice for you, plan less.

There is no way you can get the ammount of people you want for your mod, without paying for it (that's why EAP could do it in 3 years ) so do less then planned. Drop 2 Sides for instance.
Well I have 8 people permanently working on my mod now, and I am not paying em!

45% of the world is lazy, 45% of the world is busy, the remaining 10% probably didn't read this post.

Here's an early warning, when a real mods work needs to come, a lot of people that join your 'team' will suddenly 'vanish', it happens a lot, and I've seen it first hand, it's not a good situation. If you want things done, do them yourself, people to help are just a luxury, and a rarity.
Last time I checked, my mod was "real" my last screenshot topic here got over 1200 hits.
As for people leaving,I know know this first hand (cough cough killakanz)

3 new sides? Thatll take you the rest of your life I mean, it took EAP 3 years to do the original 3...
No, not the rest of my life, more like 6 months, Australia is done and I assure you, very playable.

This serves as a message for noob modders, don't give up initially, people will write you off, they always do. I have made an effort to encourage people lately as by ripping into em early, they will probably give up, where as if they stick with it, their skills will improve.
